Board of Trustees

Hajji Ismail Maalim

Hajji Ismail Maalim is a founding member and chairman of the Waqf (Nairobi Islamic Charitable Trust). He is passionate about investing in education and Islamic growth through supporting Mosque activities.

He is the engineer behind the design and infrastructure of Nairobi Muslim Academy and the adjacent mosque, Masjid Nur (South C), where he serves as the chairman of the Mosque Committee.

He is a philanthropist who supports numerous initiatives within the Muslim community.

Mohamed Osman Warfa

Mohamed Osman Warfa is a long-serving veteran Educationalist. He is the brainchild of Nairobi Muslim Academy, and he is the pillar behind the success of the school as its manager. He is the Secretary of the Waqf (Nairobi Islamic Charitable Trust) that runs the school.

He serves in other roles within the Muslim community. He is the chairman of the Jamia Mosque Committee. He is a member of Tabligh (Propagation of Islam).

He is a Philanthropist and a proactive mentor to many.
